For centuries, Kazimierz was one of the most important centres of Jewish life in Poland. During the tour, you will discover its synagogues, traditions and stories of the people who shaped this unique part of Krakow.

We will then cross the Vistula River to Podgórze, where the Nazis established the Krakow Ghetto during World War II. Here, we will explore the history of the Holocaust in Krakow and visit places connected with the ghetto and its inhabitants.

Along the way, you will also discover locations used in Steven Spielberg’s Schindler’s List and learn how Kazimierz has transformed into one of Krakow’s most vibrant neighbourhoods today.
